A Testimonial from a Senior

On July 18th, with temperatures in the 90's a senior called the office at 2:30pm asking for assistance with food.  Her husband was sick in the bed, she had neither food or money and felt helpless.  She asked if there was anything that the organization could do to help her.  Thankfully when she opened her door at 4:30pm DFTD was there with three bags of food.  She said you all were my angels and I don't know what me and my husband would do without you all.  God bless the daughters and sons.

A Testimonial from a Senior

I called to let you know about my first day with my volunteer. But now I have decided to sit now and write you this letter. On April 25th I was introduce to a bright beautiful young lady name Lisa she was so sweet and polite.  I truly enjoyed her company very much.  Yesterday I was introduce to another young lady name Sylvia, who was a very caring and patient person.  I need to say if your other volunteers are this nice and caring you have a gold mine on your hands.  I’ll spread the word about Daughters For The Day around as much as possible because every senior needs to know about the work you are doing to help us in need.  I am going to send in a donation when I can to help continue your work.  Thank you, thank you, I can’t say enough about the volunteers that I have already met.  So until I need your help again keep up the good work.

 Thank you again,

 Ms. Jean S.
