Text Box:  I think in the future you need to include a warning to new volunteers.  You need to let people know that doing this is probably going to be the absolute greatest thing and give them a serious case of the “warm and fuzzy” emotional stuff.  I thank God that I found you all.  I feel great and I hope you can just understand the joy that I feel.”            Dee B.   Text Box: At Daughter for the Day, we are very passionate about working with our senior clients, and we hope that everyone who is accepted as a Daughter or Son will feel the same way.  The position of Daughter/Son within our organization is a very special, and carries with it the honor and respect deserved by those who put the needs of others ahead of their own.  We do not consider what we do to be a job.  Because of the services we provide for our senior citizens a complete background check on all of our volunteers must be done. If you are a LOVING  and CARING person and who is looking for something worthwhile and fulfilling to do and have a FEW HOURS a month to lend a helping hand to a SENIOR CITIZEN we would love for you to be a Daughter or Son. There are so many seniors who need your assistance.  So  please call office for next orientation/training session. Applications are completed during orientation. Criminal and driving record checks are run after completing training.
